Earthquake in Haiti
After all of the research that has been done, I have decided to make my cause of the after math of the earthquake in Haiti. It took me quite some time to find what I would be doing my research on because I realized while doing this that I am a heartless person and i do not really care so much for other people. I now understand that I really do not follow the ways of cosmopolitanism. I just do not care for anyone else but myself I guess. But hopefully when I am done I will have a different view on things in the world. I decided to do the earthquake in Haiti because of the affect it had on so many peoples lives. It left so many people without a home and many people lost a lot of their family and friends. This tragedy brought many people in this world together to help out the Haitian people.

This was going to be what I was going to do before I found The East Africa crisis. I feel this is a really good topic because many people are aware of the earthquake, but since it has been some time now, many people have forgotten about it. People may think that it is done and over with, but the effects are still around and are causing people to still suffer. Help has been given, but I am sure there is still a lot of help that could be used. Like mine, this was not a short term problem; it is a long term one.
